6secs to skip a file while installing Electronic Experience

I have recently built an i7 Windows 7 64bit computer with Intel motherboard and 8gigs of ram and a new 7200rpm second hard drive for my samples.

I have installed Kore 2, updated it to 2.1.4 and installed the four sound packs I downloaded.

Now this is the problem - "Electronic Experience" is taking forever to install.

I timed how long it takes to skip a file, because I guess I already have it, and it is around 6 seconds.

6 seconds to skip a file!

Is this length of time normal?
Or, do I have some issue with my DVD driver?

have the same problem: while electronic experience install on win7 it start skipping samples but time remaining didn't count down but up (every few seconds it add 10 seconds to the time remaining)

i break it up as it reach 50 minutes.. what's that? any solution?
