Rig Kontrol 2 as soundcard and controller. GR2 shows 8ms latency in Audio properties... is there a way to decrease the amount of latency?

Win XP, Pentium4 3.0 Ghertz, 1 Gig RAM, (laptop)

Go Audio + MIDI Settings. Select ASIO config. Lower buffer size.

8ms is nothing; that's how long the sound would take to reach your ears if your amp were 8 feet away. Anything under 20 should be fine for playing; adjust to taste, of course, but 8ms seems like an excellent setup to me.

In general, I agree. I play with 8ms latency and its no problem. But I record with headphones, or when I'm only 3 feet from my monitors. If you are in the studio or on stage and you are 8 feet away from the speakers that's a total of 16ms which is too much.

    8 ms is fraggin useless.
3ms -for studio recording -which is what this thing was designed for -is acceptable.
By the way NRig-can you fix the mac drivers. I'm sick of the snap ,crackle , pop.
