Maybe this is already in K4 (I am still on K3.5), but...

Of the 3 variables for the _get_folder command, none allow the script to load an impulse response from the place where Kontakt installs most of them: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 3\presets\effects\convolution (I'm not sure where it is for the Mac).

Please could a variable for this "Common Files" path be added to the scripting language?

Yes, this variable is sorely missing in K3.5, but don't expect it to be added. They don't even fix bugs, they've promised to fix

You won't need this variable in Kontakt 4 anymore. You can simply load an IR by only referring to it's name (without a path at all), since the User\Kontakt 4\ir_samples folder is automatically searched!

    Cheers,
    Benjamin

    Thanks for the info.

There's definitely no way of loading those impulses from that directory in K3.5, then?
