Hi there, bought Komplete recently and have been spending the last month getting well stuck into Massive, lots of fun! Came across a few things that I wanted to be able to do/thought you should be able to do, and here I shall list them. Some will have come up before but think there's some new ones too. ;)

    - Another vote for displaying parameter values somewhere. As well as being able to set things accurately, it'll also makes things easier when comparing patches.

    - A Master Pitch knob that can be modulated - for some sounds it would be much better than having to assign a modulator to each oscillator individually

    - Possibility to choose independent Quality settings for live and rendering, a la FXpansion D:CAM Synth Squad. Would be great to be able to maximise the quality while bouncing/freezing tracks and projects, but converse CPU for tracking.

    - Adjustable envelope curves - sometimes the current shapes aren't quite what are desired, and the technique of mapping an envelope to itself isn't as immediate.

    - Also on the envelope - selectable beat grid for progamming envelopes that sync with the host's tempo

    - More waveforms selectable in the modulation oscillator. Understandable that it won't need the full range of waveforms available in the main 3 oscillators, but a few extra types would definitely be sonically useful!

    - Vibrato in the Osc page to be BPM syncable

    - On the Envelope display - Attack/Decay/Release to be shown as vertical lines when set to zero. It can be visually misleading when they show as much of a slope as they currently do.

    - More modulation destinations on the Master effects. In particular, I'd like to be able to turn off the internal envelope on the Phaser, and control the phase frequency with envelopes, but I can envisage more situations where this power would be useful!

    - Buttons to Shift a Performer sequence left or right a step

    - Put the tube effects on FX2 as well, sometimes I like to distort reverbs and the synth at the same time!

    - A couple more filter types - especially a vowel filter, but similar to that on the Nord modular, where you can choose 3 vowel sounds from a big list and set them at the leftmost, centre, and rightmost positions.

Hopefully, NI does take these ideas. It has been too long since Massive first came out.

Cheers, glad you're on the same wavelength!
Got a few more building in the notepad, so no doubt I'll be posting the next batch up before long ;-)

    As promised... here's some more:

An upwards rising saw in the LFO section. Was surprised to find this missing! Using negative modulation isn't always the ideal solution (which is also related to the next request)

Ability to set an LFO to positive or negative modulation, rather than only allowing bipolar.
Would be easier to use in quite a few circumstances, for example trying out different modulation options during sound design - flitting between an LFO and an envelope is made all the the more difficult because you keep having to change the settings of the thing you're modulating!

Left & Right buttons on the LFO choose waveform section. Actually, on filter type, noise type would be really handy too!

Insert and Master FX to remember knob positions per effect - would make it much easier to A/B between different effects. As it stands I find it difficult to compare between say the Dimension Expander and a Reverb, because changing the parameters of one changes the other.

Option to load a Performer preset pattern into one half of the modulator only. I'm gradually building up a set of my own patterns, but would be great to be able to hand pick the two you want to crossfade between.

And finally for now, this one's silly but maybe useful - a button to tie pitch bend up and down values together, so you only have to change one value. That one's maybe laziness ;)

Why don't you use the performer, if you need an unipolar rising or falling saw?

Yeah, that's a handy solution for now.

Having thought about it more, maybe there needs to be more LFO shaping/morphing options, crossfading between two shapes works great for some things but not so much for others.
Waveforms with PWM, or smooth transitions between rising saw, triangle and falling saw coul be a good start. Lots of potential to add more features I'd imagine!
