I have a more customizable answer: Madpad.

Also search for an ensemble called Flexstation. You could replace one of the effect in one of the four corners (or all) of Madpad with Flexstation's pull down menu multi effect and you'd have what you're describing but with more effects simultaneously... or, you could use 2 of Flexstation's effects and wire them to certain parameters of each effect using the xy axis.

I remember a simple and small effect built in core that was very similar to Destroy FX Buffer Override, it was just an XY pad and had no other controls. I cant seem to track it down again in the User Library. I hope my description will spark a memory for someone!

sorry to hijack, but I have been looking for good x/y type effects that I could control using a wacom tablet - I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if so, how they went about it.

I am on a mac so as far as I can tell the options are to use the Mu midi controller or to create something using quartz composer and transmit osc to reaktor

it's not Reaktor-based but try searching for ShakePad VST - it's an XY pad with MIDI ins, so if you can get your tablet to output MIDI you can get it to work with ShakePad... I use it live with a Korg PadKontrol and it's nice, if a bit more CPU-intensive than it has any right to be...

TrackMaster is available from the Apple Store if you are using a Mac. Lets you set scales like the Kaoss too.

    BUMP!

I have wasted a lot of time hunting for this.

Does ANYONE recall a simple buffer XY effect built in core?
