A little help with Kontakt needed in Palo Alto area

    Hi List,

    I'm a brand new owner of Kontakt 2 and a have a fast approaching deadline for writing incidental music for a show (it opens Oct. 5). The palette is quasi orchestral with some electronic sounds and FX.

    Set up: 17" Macbook Pro (100 GB HD, 3 GB RAM, 300GB Ext FW drive), OS 10.4.10, Digital Performer 5.1.2/Kontakt 2.23/Sibelius 5, I'm about to buy a MOTU Ultralite so I have an interface for the laptop and can hook up my PC88 controller (I also have a Roland XV-2020 as a possible auxiliary sound source).

    I'm wondering if I could hire someone for 1-3 hours to just get me started - showing me some basics, making sure everything is working between DP-Kontakt-and Sibelius, setting up some templates for the job in the various programs so I can focus on composing, etc. As I am used to notation I would prefer in most cases to start files in Sibelius and import them as MIDI files into DP to edit and make into audio as opposed to just working purely in DP.
