s8a.jpg Hi, my scenario is D I run a Traktor S8 with a Acer Win 10 Laptop with main output from the S8 to my amp and the booth out to a cheap and cheerful Behringer USB Sound Card which sends a digital signal to my 2nd laptop, A Sony Vaio where I would stream from or record a mix on using audacity and then upload those mixes to mixcloud. - You can see the little red blob in the image?... that's the Behringer, I would of course prefer a Komplete Audio 2 to be sitting in between my S8 and laptop

    I'm running a D set up.
Running Traktor on my mac connected to 2 turntables (Reloop 8000s) through a Z2 Mixer with the Booth out going to my PC. Using EpocCam to stream video from my phone, and an old Xbox360 cam as secondary, all into OBS.

    #BailandoenCasa

My option will be A or D.
I was helping users at forum to get A/C at this post.

Also I made an infographic for one of the Loopstation FB groups I participate to help others to understand these things.

Hello everyone, as a retired travelling club-DJ and professional sound-engineer I am currently using Traktor Pro3 for live streaming on Second Life as a hobby only. My setup is a broadcast-like studio where I use TP3 with an S8, 2 F1's and a Contour ShuttlePro2 on one screen of a desktop machine. On the second screen of the same computer I run an instance of MediaMonkey hooked on the internal soundcard (TP3/S8 on Asio, MMonkey on WDM driver). This way I have a separate browser for cueing and loading the jingles into the remixdecks. The Master- and Cue outs of the S8, as well as the internal soundcard for MediaMonkey are feeding 6 dedicated channels on 2 stacked Ecler Mimo88's (16x16 matrix), as well as the Shure SM7B microphone in serial with a TC Helicon Voicelive-Touch for presentation and voice effects (2 channels for stereo reverb and effects). Both the Ecler Mimo88's contain besides the matrix also limiters, compressors, equalizers, duckers and delays per i/o channel and is controlled by a touchscreen. From the Ecler matrix, a stereo mix is feeding a Tascam US1800 soundcard on a dedicated I7 stream-computer which runs a standalone version of Thimeo StereoTool broadcast processor software for the extensive soundprocessing, virtual audio cable and Radio Caster for feeding a remote Linux VPS (StratoServer) running Centovacast (that's the actual streamserver). The sound processing has a total latency of about 3-4 seconds. The setup for the cuemix on the headphones is totally independed from the master-feed to the stream, but has a similar layout, and uses Asio-drivers and a "lighter" soundprocessing to achieve a latency of about 9-10ms for real-time pre/post listening. Also I am using a Ecler DuoNet hardware stream-reciever/player for post-monitoring and if necessary feeding an external stream from another station and/or media-broadcasts, like a newsfeed. By using the matrix and streamreciever I am able to monitor all in- and outputs, dedicated or mixed, pre- or post stream, on the headphones or nearfields while doing the show. For me, this broadcaststudio setup with Traktor soft- and hardware works fairly well, because during my performances I not only want to play the music in a traditional "radio"-way with presenting by microphone and playing jingles, bumpers and intro's, but beatmixing like a live-club-jock as well. Ofcourse I would like more radio-features like faderstarts, full dual-head display with a floating browser and larger GUI of the remixdecks (which are my virtual cart-players), but I am not complaining, Traktor works for me as it is now... So this is my (stationary) stream-setup...

For all people all over the world, stay safe and hopefully this scary and unsecure period will be over soon... Take care ;-)
