So im having a new issue with my Traktor..

It happens with both decks randomly, usually about every 30 seconds or so.

When the tracks are playing they will skip ahead 1 bar without notice as if they are
trying to auto sync or something, i do not use the sync button at all so im not sure what is causing problem. i was thinking about making a youtube video showing the problem. :(

If you need more details let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

Could be a DPC latency spike.

Here is a video i did from the table and computer view.

iv turned off the multi core processing, do not think its the latency, i think its either bad vinyl or my computer just isnt powerful enough

    Dell inspiron 1501

It happens in the same spots on both vinyl on both sides. kind of weird.

I think its your vinyl..... To be honest with you. My second opinion is, it can be the song itself having a skip in it. Try out the vinyl on another song, at the same spot, you might have a scratch on it.

mate, classics like the nine need to be played by real vinyl, even if they're released as webs. ;)

to the subject... what's your process buffer set to (192, 256 etc.)? if you run the diagnostics, are there red spikes?

i don't think it's vinyl. i mean srsly...all 4 sides broken on the exact same spot.....i don't think so. from my experience these plates can take a pretty heavy abuse and still play tracks fine.

perhaps make a fresh install and be sure you don't have any red spikes appearting in the diagnostics (up-to-date drivers, wifi turned off, etc.) and also try increasing your buffer and see how it affects.

why should classcs be played on real vinyl, I don't see the importance.

i was just saying. don't worry, i'm not some kind of vinyl purist. everybody plays whatever tunes using whatever medium.

if you're in absolute mode and you're sure that the skip is not in the mp3 file (i got some vinyl rips that actually skip :D ), then it's the vinyl.

Looks like it was the computer, i built a new one and there is no more skipping so far.
