A new Traktor controller to be announced tomorrow!

Haven't got a clue what it is, they just posted a sneak peak photo on Twitter and Facebook... I just hope I won't regret buying an F1 a month ago...

Looks a bit strange....excited though. I nearly bought an S4 last month but decided to wait...hope it's worth it.

 

It looks like a standalone mixer alongside an F1... Could be a battle mixer for turntablists...

The fader that seems to be in the center or top, I guess (I assume there's a fader also on the left or bottom) has no center mark, the same way a volume fader would have, while the other one is marked like a crossfader is.

Whatever it is, I can't wait to see it.

 

I think its a new twitch-style controller and it will be accompanied by a Traktor update, which introduces colour coded cue points etc.

 

I'm thinking (HOPING) for a battle mixer. *fingerscrossed*

What so basically a mixer with a built in soundcard, so that you can use traktor without the need of the jog wheels or timecode with cdjs, vinyl etc?

I think you're right, testing the waters of a full blown NI Mixer

3 Channels out
2 x Turntables/CDs
2 channels of EQ faders
1 Channel out for Remix Decks (2 Channels routed to the same output) but there wont be EQs for this channel as it's purely for the remix decks
Cross fader (maybe removable)
Headphone out
Mains out
2 x 4 encoders for FX
Filter and key encoders
New LEDs for EQ display
Comes in White and Black
Comes with Control Vinyl (maybe not)
Magnetic Faceplates for customised faceplates

4 Deck version to come later, hopefully with no crossfader
