It would be good to propose a parameter directly accessible in the sampler that would make pumping (by acting on the volume for example) easily between two sounds. The settings of the side-chain compression plugin are complicated and not so intuitive I find to do that.

My AIRA MX1 does that with a click of a button. I can route Machine into multiple channels on the mixer, over USB, and assign step-sequence based side chain effects per channel. It's just a volume dip, but it does the job.

Simple and effective is all I ask :)
Just a small plugin with gain reduction, attack and release. And especially with the possibility of selecting several side-chain entries ...

if you want real side-chaining, you have to do the routing. of course there are plenty of small, cheap plug-ins that do simple "fake" ducking. waves one-knob pumper, nicky romero kickstart, volumeshaper, etc.

There already is a simpler option. Use the native filter that comes with maschine. Set the lfo to sync and adjust the modulation and shape as needed.
