i watched it on the train coming back from work

i think it is definitely worth the 48 minutes becuase you really get the feeling how important Maschine is to NI and how they will definitely take on board user feedback.

did you feel differently about their take on user feedback prior to this video?

 

still watching right now but I thought it was very interesting that she said there are service teams and that she works on dsp fx for all of the ni products, this is very different than the many quotes from forum members talking about each instrument having it's own specific team that only works on that.........apparently that is not the case.

 

Maschine definitely does have its own Development team that only work with Maschine.

Steinunn Arnadottir - who you are talking about - does seem to work across projects but that makes sense to me as NI are putting effects in all their products and her area seems to be DSP effects and sound design. so for me it makes sense that some people work on a number of products whilst others work on a number of products.

NI already said that they had separate people working on FX and Application frameworks in OTR #6:

yeah I'm talking about what she eluded to, and her work is obviously time consuming so I don't know how many people in their team work don't work exclusive to just maschine but this could help in understanding why the update took so long.

I don't know how to explain it but this video is the first time I have been really attracted to the maschine studio controller, up until this video I haven't been feeling the esthetics at all lol, but it looks good in this clip. Might have something to do with it not being on a desk i dunno
