Abbey Road Drums Upgrade ?

There is an Upgrade avalible now for current owners of Abbey Road Drums, but how do you get it ? I dont see it anywhere on this site ?

so am i getting this right? if i own Abbey Road 60s & 80s, i get these "drummers" for free? that can't be right.

No, it works in Kontakt 5/Kontakt 5 Player only.

 

would adding Kontakt 5 Player screw up a system that uses Kontakt 4/Abbey Road Drums for Kontakt 4?

 

I got my download links a few hours after the initial e-mail.

WetDentist: Kontakt 4 and Kontakt 5 are ENTIRELY separate, so installing 5 won't touch 4 at all.

I've received the serial for 70s drums I bought seperately but nothing for the 60s drums that came with komplete 7.

is this eligible for the upgrade too ? if so how do I go about getting it ?

My Cubase 6.0.5 (32 bit) on Mac OSX 10.6.8 crashes when opening Kontakt 5.0.2 (Vst) after I installed the Abbey Road 60 Drummer. Any solution? The Kontakt 5.0.2 works fine as stand-alone.

I have just tried opening Cubase in 64 bit and the Kontakt works.

But I need to run my Cubase in 32 bit mode (Waves Mercury and more - still 32 bit)

 

I too own Abbey Road 60s through Komplete 7. We should definitely be eligible. I have not received an update link in any email. Currently trying to select update from NIs Support page but it's not loading. I guess I'm not the only one with this idea...

...got through, mighty slow, and no update available for Komplete 7.

 

I received the announcement email this morning, then the NI web site was down for a few hours (probably during the time it was supposed to send me my serials and links). what should i do now?

 

the PLUGIN won't be touched at all. But the CONTENT might be.

Updating various Content I had for K4 made them unavailable for K4 and available only for K5 Player... even when it's shown in the K4 Library.

For example: I bought Funk Guitarist for Kontakt 4. I updated Funk Guitarist and it can't be loaded in Kontakt 4 anymore, but only in Kontakt 5 Player. Since I own full Kontakt4 but not Kontakt5, I could alter the Funk Guitarist Content in Kontakt4 to my needs, but since the update, I can't alter the Funk Guitarist Content in Kontakt5 since I only have the K5Player...

 

I'm loving the update. At first the links NI provided didn't work, but it all got sorted out. Registration using the Service Center went smooth after a few small updates.

Load time for kits seems faster. We have more mapping options with the ability to save configs, decent built in presets that we can fine tune for not just full kits (more than the 4 or 5 would have been nicer though) but also mixing options for each kit piece! (labeled A, B, C, etc.). That is a real time saver.

I have downloaded and installed but it doesnt work or show up in Kontak or the Service Center ?

I'm having problems installing -- can someone guide me through the process - does it need to be the same drive as Komplete? (I thought it was when I installed!)
