ability to run vst within maschine.

I think maschine is a great product, and i like to sequencer better than Logic which i used to record tracks, but i hate logics sequencer, maschine should be able to run things like kore and the apps in komplete 6 within its groups as vst's, i think this would be a great way to play with sounds on a great product instead of running a host like logic to sequence your sounds, i don't know if this made any since but ill try to make it a little easy by saying this, i think Native-Instrument software should all be able to co-exist as vst's within one another, instead of running all them through a host sequencer....

 

I would even pay for this sort of update.

Reaper

Do a search for Reaper on this site. People on here have come with some ingenius ways to work around this limitation of Maschine. Also go to soundsandgear.com. SaintJoe who also hangs on this site has videos on his own site for how he sets up VST's in Reaper and sequences them with Maschine. It's dope and very cheap to get up and running.

I think VST support (or at least NI Komplete support) in Maschine and Timestretch are the two most requestes features. With this features Maschine will be the greatest beat production tool for a long, long time. If that happen i'll order NI Komplete.

This would indeed rock. Making Maschine a VST host would be an incredible step forward. I would never need to open Ableton Live again

 

+1 for vst support - While it will be cool,there will still be the need to use a daw imo.At least I still will..Anyways I think Maschine needs this feature,but it may be in the distant future. till then just please give me a proper transport support for Maschine in my daw. Then I can sequence in my daw,and make music with maschine like I WANT without getting frustrated... mmm--k

Please NI. Give us a statement. Is this feature in work? We heard nothing form NI to the VST/AU topic. In the update after 1.5 timestretch will be the big thing. But maybe in the update after this VST support will be possible? Please NI! Speak to us

I think with a future update they should allow maschine software to be able to load vst's anyone else agree?

Personally, I'm just kind of 'meh' about the whole VST thing... Even if it could load them, I wouldn't see myself doing that when I could just load them into Ableton (substitute your VST compliant host here...) and really have more facilities available to me there.

What I would much rather see, to be honest, are synthesis modules based on simple Reaktor ensembles that can be loaded into Maschine. I think this makes more sense, and is perhaps much more likely, because I think that much of the NI line is probably in part based on Reaktor, anyway.

I mean the Reaktor sound engine sounds as good as any VST out there and they would have much more control/integration into the total system architecture that way. They could have some dedicated drum synth components and some simple subtractive synthesis-based oscillators to make basses, pads, etc. with. Most of the subtractive synthesis elements are already in place in the Sampler module as it is, so perhaps adding a real oscillator wouldn't be that much more CPU intensive.

I just think this would be a much more simple way to expand Maschine than to try to figure out how to integrate VST interfaces, etc. into this product.
