About stems integration

    Hello, I have a question concerning more information about using the new stems with other dj controllers except the one's already mentioned (traktor kontrol s8, d2 and F1). For example, other NI products like S2 or S4, will they get integration with mapping and stem decks in traktor pro 2( I think I saw such a thing on the internet)?

    What do you mean by "integration with mapping"?
    Traktor Pro 2.9 will support Stems.
    Stems feature will be midi mappable.
    So you can use any midi controler to use Stems feature.

    Bought a Traktor kontrol s4 mk2 few days ago.
    What kind of possibilities I have to use stems with it?
    Can I connect S4 with D2 or does S8 alone definitely makes more sense?
    I Still could change the order, but not sure if mixing will really change to stems...

    Of course you can have D2 with S4.
    But D2 is too expensive to use it just for Stems.
    I think F1 will be much better solution if you already have S4 - you can use Stems feature, but you cannot see 4 stem waveforms on your computer screen. If that is not a big issue for you, buy F1.
