multichannel as in routing individual drums to like an audio track so you can compress or put a reverb on that drum

It works correctly. I am using LP7.2.3 with OSX.4.9

 

Yes you can do this, just choose the multi channel plugin.

Yeah bro, select an instrument track, and create a multi instrument instance of Battery.
You can set the individual outputs of each cell in battery, and just set an aux track input to correspond and you're in business!
I use battery like this some of the time, it definitely should work.

AFAIK.. you can route cells up to 32 channels in BATTERY 3.
