    Hello,

I'm currently running Traktor with my S2 Controller. But Now I feel it tis time to update to some heavier stuff.

I would like to continue with traktor, but I'm going to buy 2x CDJ2000Nexus and an DJM-900Nexus. But I have a couple of questions.

I guess it is Traktor HID technology I'm going to use? Do I only need to connect the DJM-900 to my laptop with USB? Or do the CDJs also need to be connected to the computer or maybe connected by USB to the DJM-900?

I won't need any timecode CDs aight?

In case of emergency during a gig, lets say that my computer will crash suddenly. I would like to be able to switch playing with USB-sticks immediately. Is that possible or do I need to re-config the CDJ and turn off the HID settings?

I've been trying to google around and find some good tutorials. If there is any super simple video tutorial for this. Please let me know! :)

Thanks in advance DJ colleagues! :)

I think this video will help you..........

    Link :

You won't need timecode CD's right.

In case of emergency during a gig and a laptop crash, you can press the usb button on CDJ2000 nexus (With a USB-stick) and your good to go.

    Good Luck.......

    Wow thanks! Much useful.

One more question though that I still don't get. If I have the DJM-900Nexus Mixer. Is it enough to connect the mixer to the laptop with USB. Or do the CDJs also needs to be connected to the laptop by USB?

Yes all three need to be connected to your laptop by usb....... A USB hub is your friend.
