Standalone Absynth 2.02 crashes when trying to change the midi or audio settings. Anyone experienced the same problem?

I did have this problem but I got around it by changing the midi/audio options in the previous version and then launched 2.02 with no problems.

    Yeah..

Absynth for OSX is a f***ing expensive failure as well as the other OSX tryouts. We are all a bunch of little white beta-mice paying to do the job. Im never going the Native Instruments route again. Ever. Period. I'll collect the updates for my three NI products if they ever gets released and sell them as quick as I can say "screwed". The virtual instruments scene is busy and there are a bunch of good contenders willing to grab a seat.

    I agree !

I think NI really has got problems to satisfy us customers. They have too many products and can't handle all of them correctly.

So that's why they charge us to beta-test their software. NI think about it, we're getting really disappointed...!

    And while Im at it...

Where the **** is the editable version for OSX vst?
There are a little remark attached to the installer that confirms that its crippled.

    It to no use!!!!

When composing modern music uoy want to tweak the ****ing sound!!!!!

    Thats an invaluable feature!!!

Without it you dont have a product!!!!

Its a non releasable piece of garbage!!!

And when offending your userbase with such a crippled version you could at least comunicate with them and telling WHEN it will be fixed.

    Guess if Im angry??

    Re: I agree !

In Germany, we call this situations "Wirtschaftskrise", which loosely translated means, 'dumb and incompetent leaders in the big town make small companies die'.

I *guess* they cannot afford to hire as many developers as they would like to...

    cheers, aljen

    Yes,Yes,Yes..!!

I tried using the AU version of 2.02 in DP and Protools and everytime I changes patches in DP it freezes the programs. My Spectrasoncis stuff and other virtuals do not. I am trying the new logic update and seeing it that will work tomorrow. Here is what MOTU Sent me today as a reply. Gregory

"MOTU and Native Instruments are actively working together to provide mutually compatible products for an integrated music production environment under Mac OSX. Engineering teams at MOTU, NI and Apple are in close contact and place the highest priority on the seamless operation of NI plug-ins within DP via the Mac OSX Audio Unit plug-in standard. Compatible updates of all NI plug-ins will be available as soon as possible."

    Best regards,

Importing OS9 Sound from Older Absynth Prgm

What is the bes way to import the old Absynth sounds from OS9 ver 1.34 into the OSX version 2.02? May be a simple answer, but I am not wanting to complicate things on this end.

    Cheers,

    Gregory
