    After installing the update Absynth does not activate my Kore device (stand alone mode) so I can't hear anything.

    It does still output sound from within Kore itself when loaded as an instrument.

    I was backwards here (and just noticed)-the 2x8.dll is the normal one these days. The others are the compatability ,dlls. Sorry for any confusion...

    Just installed the update - I was wondering how you were able to work this out? ;) Does it say somewhere?

    Can I just clarify then - I have in my vst folder:
    Absynth 3
    Absynth 3 FX
    Absynth 3 FX 28
    Absynth 3 Surround
    Absynth 3 Synth 28
    ...and the two "28" dlls supercede the three others? Is that right?

    Yup!, That seems to be correct that's what I have in my vst folder...I have 5 as you have...i.e.

    Absynth 3
    Absynth 3 FX
    Absynth 3 FX 28
    Absynth 3 Surround
    Absynth 3 Synth 28

    Yes I would say that they do overwrite the others...i.e. "28DLL's"...(I could be quoted on this one though)
