Yeah, I'm playing legato.. and have an envelope triggering the filter frequency - I dont know why but creating this second breakpoint gave me a different functionality. Can you email me a tests patch so I can see if maybe there is something different that you are doing that I'm missing?

I am on a hi speed connection in the UK - speedtest.net reports 6mbps up and down to servers in frankfurt, yet I can only download from you at 33kbps - the download reports well over an hour to complete...

I don't think things are working as well as they usually do!

Well, I just made one and saved. Guess what? When I reloaded the patch to check... it suddenly worked! Removed the 2nd breakpoint, and now the filter stayed open. Now THAT makes sense. I eat my words and apologise to Brian (hm, that's becoming a habbit...).

Saving was the one thing I didn't try. So in conclusion, there IS a bug, but can be worked around by saving/reloading.

Many thanks for investigating and finding the solution with the doubled breakpoint. That's exactly what I was looking for. After all, life might not be as bad as it looks sometimes. :D

I'm having some really weird things happen since upgrading - I'm using a n eight core mac pro running Logic 7.2.3 (and Apogee Symphony soundcards). All the instruments while playing which were playing on the same output channels as Absynth stopped playing (when the sequencer was started)! Instead they just 'clicked / popped'. Only when closing Absynth did they all work again!

Weirdly after opening and closing the plug again (and then reloading) twice it seemed to fix it but other things seem really glitchy and there's a lot of crashing happening. I'm going to have to keep an eye on it and see if it continues..

Downloading the update still fails here when hitting 97% both via the NI Service Center and the weblink.

    Update question

I'm on dial-up as that's all I have available to me, (that's affordable, this being Amerika and all...). The upgrades for Absynth 4 are huge for me and it seems there've been problems with the server. so:
    1. Is it safe to download now?
    2. Is 4.2 inclusive? or do I have to do all 3 updates?

    Sincerely,
    sam..

maybe you grab a usb-stick and go to a internet-cafe a download it.

the actual version is 4.02 and i think you dont need to install the previous ones...

I wish they made it a new version - I didn't realise the glo bug had been fixed a while back.

I'd reposted in both the 4.0.4 thread and the import broken thread when the bug had been fixed...
