    Hello,

the Absynth 4.0.1 update just has been released, and is available for download via the NI Service Center or the update website.

This update fixes the issues with loading Absynth 3 & 4 single sounds and Multisounds containing Absynth in Kore! It also contains new features and other fixes.

    Best, Henning

Has anyone else noticed that Kore is a CPU hog and uses way more CPU then running the individual synths by themselves? There are certain Massive patches that are not even useable to me in Kore because they tax the CPU so hard that I start getting all kinds of crazy distortion. I am running a farely powerful machine too. Does anyone have any advice?

Is it just me, or do you find that some of the new Kore multisounds that include Absynth 4, don't work properly because the Absynth4 is not recalling the correct midi channel ? eg Exsect Discord, Gnarlabee,Hesselhoff Split, and quite a few more. It seems intermittent though.

    ?

I'm not seeing that at all; in fact, the Absynth sounds on those are set to omni in the MIDI filter for the source channel...

The ones where the channel's hard assigned use a MIDI file; click on the play arrow in the MIDI section of the source channel.

This is good news...I was dealing with updating to komplete4, kore hell last week..i hope this fixes some of the problems..most of the new kore combos use absynth4 patches and it was fairly annoying to have to open a patch.go back into the absynth interface to reset the patch manually.this would also sometimes crash the machine or cause odd behaviour which would force me to quit out of live .reopen the project and start again.

Kore still crashes when scanning Absynth4.dll. Don't know what I'm doing wrong!?

    Hi,

I might be missing something as I'm still not seeing all the sounds as I'd have expected - even with the latest updates.
I can view the Absynth 4 sounds in the Explorer section of Kore if I select either Absynth 4 > Absynth Sounds Vol. 1, or Absynth 4 > Instruments. But I don't see all the sounds actually in the Browser section with the 'Attributes'.

Likewise, if I manually open the Absynth 4 plug-in - I can open any sound within it from its own GUI, but if I try to load a sound from within the Kore 'Sound' menu, the list still comes up with <disabled>. Is anyone else getting this?
Is there a particular order to install/update Kore/Absynth/FM8 etc....?

If anyone could shed any light, it'd be much appreciated...

    Thanks.

That's still going to come up as disabled on any of the new plugins unless you have a program list enabled in the plugin in question. Likewise, any of the new plugins won't respond to program changes unless you have a program list enabled.
