Solved Absynth 5.3.4 bugged

Absynth 5.3.4 fresh install.

- Standalone version doesn't open.
- Ableton Live 10 crashes when scanning recently installed Absynth. Crashes on loading Absynth Stereo, Fx and surround.
- Nuendo 10.3 blacklists the plugin (unknown reason).

Any ideas?

hello. has the upgrade been pulled back? i check NI updater and not seeing anything for Absynth.

 

I still see 5.3.4 in NA.

 

I'm having issues with Pro Tools 12 seeing the latest version of Absynth 5 as a plugin. I get the dialog box "The following plug-ins failed to load because they are not valid 64 bit AAX plug- ins"

I do have the latest version of Absynth 5.3.4

 

Absynth 5 contains 32 and 64-bit .dll
Are you look in the 64-bit folder?

 

As far as I can tell, when I check Native Access for the installation path--I don't have separate 32- and 64-bit folders. Not at all.

Having those dedicated 32 and 64 bit folders seems to be a Windows only feature, correct?

 

Oh, if you're on Mac then yeah stuff is 64-bit only there.

 

My issue is now solved. NI Tech helped out; just deleted all necessary Absynth 5 files, reinstalled, and ProTools recognizes it just fine.
