    Hi Guys,

I am using a panning's automation in Cubase for Absynth 5 synth. Unfortunately, for some reason, with every new cycle/loop (which I am using for mixing) the panning (CC10/CC20) is being reset.

How can I disable the reset thing?

Thank you in advance for helping!

I would assume this is about your automation. What automation point is recieved by Absynth, when a loop cycle begin?

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply! I don't know if I understood you correctly (as I'm a rookie) but I set panning automation for that part to be -3 and it keeps getting far left which I don't want (I want to have automation taking care of that).

I don't use Cubase. But a automation pan setting of -3 should hardly move the pan to the left, if you mean -3 is a CC value or a percentage.

Please post a screenshot of where you set the Pan value -3, and a screenshot of your Pan automation lane for the loop you mention.
Also please post a screenshot of the Absynth Pan parameter you have automated.

So I set automation to -3 which is not much (I think the scale is down to -60).

but Absynth panning changes to more left automatically (even if i set automation to the right for example):

In my DAW, that automation parameter is named Pan LR. (You have Pan LR, Pan FB and Pan. (In my DAW the Pan is under Audio parameters, but not the 2 others. I don't know if that's the case in Cubase.).
Try to use the Pan LR parameter instead of Pan. (I can read Pan only in your automation lane.)

Keep in mind, that Absynth also work for surround sound.
Also keep in mind that you can set Absynth to Pan each of the 3 synth lines separately, if the Surround Pan Switch is activated. That might also have an impact on how the different Pan parameters work.

If this does'nt work, then please try it on a New Sound created through the File menu.

BTW: What do you mean by reset? What you mention now i don't find is a reset.
