Absynth + Massive

I always think would be a nice idea...only one powerful synth: omni...synth!
What do you think?

This idea would definitely be awesome. I do think that both synths could benefit from one another.

For example, the wavetables and overdrive characteristics of Massive could easily "SPIKE" Absynth. Conversely, the otherworldly modulations of Absynth could magnify Massive even more.

I do think you are definitely on to something that is definitely under NI's nose. In fact, this should not just be limited to Absynth and Massive. What about Reaktor's synths and their components being thrown into the mix. I could definitely imagine Skrewell and Spacedrone getting treatments from Massive and Absynth sonically.

This forum should definitely be a lot longer than it is now. In fact, NI should hire you!

 

...I would rather see all the different modules (oscillator section, modulation, filters, modulators, fx) of all NI's synths being available as single components in Kore. Something like Arturia did with their Origin synth. It would be so cool to layer a Massive oscillator with an Absynth oscillator and a Kontakt group, run it through a series of parallel filters and fx and modulate it with the multi-envelopes from Absynth and the LFOs from Massive...
