absynth sounds

    i had to reinstall absynth 5,from native access.
    i cant find the sounds though,where would they be?
    when i open absynth there are no presets.

    I don't use Native Access. I guess something has gone wrong during the install. You should be able to find the presets in Absynths browsers.
    You can try re-install Absynth and check the install paths. Install from a installer instead. Post in Native Access forum. Contact NI support.

    I guess you were running Absynth in your sequencer, am I right?
    If so, please quit your DAW and launch Absynth standalone, the sound library will then be built up.

    Yes that's correct.

    I perhaps wrongly presumed you had opened in standalone mode. All your NI applications shall be run in standalone mode to be sure they work as plug-ins. Also run standalone after an update.
