Just got the DVD last night. I'm about half-way through the tutorial. Man, this is just great! I thought I knew Absynth fairly well, but there's so much I haven't even begun to explore and I doubt I would have having not been exposed to the DVD. Looks good. Sounds good. Easy to navigate. Worth every penny. NI should produce one for every synth they sell.

    Fully Agree !

BTW, I dont get any sponoring from NI for this, would not mind though ;-)

But ... I want MORE ... learn us how to do the tricky things ...
This DVD's stops where a next one could start.
    Sound design with Absynth ...!

    Absolutely!

I've only messed with the tutorial for the past day and I've already come to really appreciate Absynth even more. I also got Pro-53 and FM7 and sorta regret getting Pro-53 as I can do much of what it does with Absyth. I do feel like the FM7 was pretty worth it though.

But, yes, the tutorial is VERY well done and extremely informative. Absynth is one of the more amazing bits of music-making technology I have after Cubase perhaps. You'll never run out of things to make and mess with. The layout of the DVD presentation is in an orderly left-to-right presentation that corresponds with the navigation menu at the top of the Absynth interface.

A touch pricey, but generally worth the money as everything about the DVD is top-flight.
