Absynth Tutorial DVD is a big disappointment

I just posted my own impressions in another thread - but quickly, the DVD is absolutely worth the price of admission - there's no way you can know as much about Absynth unless you check it out - real deep stuff is covered.

I especially liked the envelopes and granular sampling chapters, really opens your eyes to doing just about anything. Have WAV/AIFF, will travel.

 

Seriously, there are people dying out there in wars, and you're making a huge fuss about a DVD which no one else seems to have any problems with.

DVD to me, not being an American, means a disk you can either stick into your computer or DVD player or anywhere else you would care to for that matter. The word DVD is a generic description just like CD.

If your computer can not run it then there is probably something wrong with your software setup. 3.4 gig machines, running windows XP should have no problems dealing with a DVD rom. Try some other DVD roms with videos on them to see if they work.

Also, relax, make some music with absynth, you'll live longer!

any book recommended

I'd really prefer a good book on the use of Absynth 3, since I find that the instruction manual is not so good.
Anybody know of a good book or tutorial website?
