I am trying to get Traktor DJ working on iPad. I get this error message: "Cannot Use Accessory, Traktor Audio 2 MK2: This accessory requires too much power".

I have this issue with ipad mini 2 and ipad mini5, I have apple camera connection kit (chinese clone) connected to ipad lightning port and audio interface connected with USB-A - mini-USB cable to the camera connection kit. I have this issue even if I supply power to camera connection kit through its lightning port or to traktor Audio 2 mk2 through its external power supply connector (power supply is that of Z1 though).

I do not have NI lightning - mini-USB cable nor NI lightning - USB-B cable. Is there any way to get Traktor DJ Ipad to work without those...?

TDJ works with controller (or A2) ios only with the original (proprietary) NI lightning cable. Any usb via CKK kit does not work.
    Try the NI cable;)

    1. Are you certain that even with original Apple CKK Traktor Audio 2 mk2 does not work?

    2. NI cable is pretty expensive and I am probably not going to use Traktor DJ much because it requires iTunes on PC which is a dealbreaker for me (I am never again going to install iTunes, I hate it). If I buy this cable can I use Traktor Audio 2 mk2 with other iPad audio software like synthesizers, or 3rd party DJ-program ?

to 1: my answer was related to A2 for TDJ! on ios: i can't swear on it, but heard so often from other user (its not because the power consumption, the NI cable is needed because NI TDJ does not use a native midi protocol, so CCK may never work with TDJ, even not the Apple original). Maybe other user may confirm or correct me if i am wrong

to 2: No, for other software it's exactly the other way around (they ARE using midi class complinat handshake): you need the ORIGINAL Apple CCK (no clone), not the NI cable - then you can connect the A2 as soundcard even on iOS via USB, i know some user doing this (best example are the DJ Player Pro user with iOS and A2, works well - with Apple CCK)
