Activating Komplete on new machine

I have bought virtually every version of every software synth NI has developed. My most recent purchase was Komplete 6, because it upgraded several of my products and added a few I didn't own. Now I am retiring my old computer and installing everything on a new one. The first product I installed was Komplete. Maybe I'm doing it backwards --I think I got upgrade pricing so maybe some earlier NI product needs to be installed in order to activate in Service Center? Because at this point when I run Service Center it asks for individual serial numbers for each of the components. As far as I can see, for Komplete I've just got one SN. If I try to activate, say, Absynth 5, the Komplete SN won't activate it. I can't recall how activation of Komplete worked on my soon-to-be-junk computer. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.
