I won't spend too long banging on about the fact I was quite happy on OSX 10.6, before NI decided that to run their latest plugins I would need to update it. Or the fact that after upgrading to OSX Mavericks that it corrupted my NI plugins so none of them would open, corrupted Ableton which caused it numerous issues, and also corrupted other VSTs. Or the fact that I had to spend hours upon hours reinstalling stuff only to find that Mavericks caused my ageing Macbook Pro (2007ish) fatal issues which meant from the following day after doing all this, it could only be started in safe mode. And because the backup was made using this OS, that I could no longer roll back to the previous OS as the backup was not compatible. Or the fact that I can only get this OS working now by having my fans on at their highest RPM constantly to keep the heat down. I have been sat at this laptop for days installing, backing up, reinstalling, and generally getting extremely frustrated.

All this because NI stopped supporting 10.6.

So, on to my current predicament.

After Mavericks failed and I had to backup, reformat and reinstall from scratch, I used Migration assistant to bring over all the applications and documents from my last time machine backup. Now, when service centre launches it does not find any NI software that I have installed on this laptop, which includes Komplete 9, Traktor and other instruments and effects. I would like to know the best approach to deal with this issue? Is there some way of getting this to work or will I have to reinstall my NI products once again.

If it is the case where I have to reinstall, considering I already have the samples installed on an external disk, what is the best way to approach this task? How should I uninstall it, and if I bypass the samples/content during the installation process, how do I point the individual programs to their correct content libraries.
