Activation Issues

Too bad for NI that most of these products can be had for WAY less money, without the hassle of this registration BS. It's not what I would like to do, especially since I can easily afford most of their software, but it's just easier to get a version that will work ANYWHERE AND EVERY time you install it.. I would be way more interested in getting this figured out than the folks at NI seem to be if I were them.

Did you ever think about to rename drive designator H:/ to C:/ ?
It´s possible with Partition Magic p.ex.
You have to make sure, no other drive has the designator C:/ first.
If there´s a drive w/ the designator C:/ already, rename this 1st to a designator no other drive has, - then rename H:/ to C:/

Well, I saved up in order to upgrade to Komplete 5 and buy Kore2.
But, was trying to install Essentials again on my new iMac.

I can't get the Installer to accept the xml KeyFile which Service Center generates. I know I have been able to work around this on my PC(which I sold) in the past, but now I seem to be stuck.

Seeing how many people have frustrating experiences with the support of this product, and based on my own experiences in the past with NI support (or should I say the lack of it), I'm going to withdraw from the intention to buy Komplete and Kore and spend my money with companies that DO support their products.

Although NI makes great products, there support is below industry standard. Slow to say the least, if you get any at all.

Maybe we need to start paying hackers to crack the software we paid for so we can actually use it. :S

True How this possible ? We want be legal users of NI products and we lose our time for waiting ? How long ?
