Add a sizeable window for every 16 sounds of a group pattern

It would be great when I'll have the possibility to have an overview of several sound's pattern. When I am in keyboard mode / view, I can only see the pattern of this sound. And i have to switch to another sound when I will compare it to another

Selecting two sounds in and see the two patterns? Would be cool but hard to implement. How would maschine know to wich sound too record if you have 2 selected, maschine does not have a "rec arm" feature, thats more of a DAW thing.

 

It should have a record arm feature (or something to stop incoming MIDI from being recorded to Groups other than the currently focused Group) and Maschine could know which Sound to record to by still having just one Sound in focus, even if multiple are selected (e.g., we can already select multiple Sounds for parameter edits across them, but only one Sound is selected and in focus).

Just a thought.

I've thought and talked about this kind of thing before, but perhaps as part of an expandable arranger feature where you can open out the Groups to show the Sounds and then also open out the Sounds to show them in keyboard mode. The Pattern area could be hidden in this scenario to give more space. With it in the arranger, it allows seeing multiple Patterns, but also in the context of your song/arrangement.

 

Yeah i was just replying to another thread with the same suggestion and i suggested a similar thing.
An expandable arranger would be awesome but would probably take another 3 years to develop...

 

When two sounds or more are in the same pattern, there is no problems

This kind of improvements would be practical it is true but in my opinion far from being a priority for NI...

 

No one said there was a problem. What we are suggesting is to be able to SEE more than one pattern at the same.

 

And automation lanes....
