I did a fast search but i couldnt fint anything satisfying...

Q: I would like to add more effects to my traktor setup. Is it possible to add more effects to traktor?

If that is possible, can i get them in the "effects bar" so i can just add dem in the line with the existing ones? And could i for instance download a short .mp3 sound effect and convert it so it would work in the traktor software?

Ex, i would like a 'AirHorn' effect when i play reggaemusic, could i download it, convert it, and simply just add it to the traktor software and choose it as an effect when i play songs with my midicontroller?

    Thx!

Thanks for the answer! But could you be more specific? Or do you know a guide that you could post or smth?

Also i might add, are there any good/free sites that have a big collection of sound effects/samples?

Seems like everyone is pulling your leg here...

The answer is no, you cannot add any other effects (like VSTs and such) to Traktor..

As for samples FX and playing them (in deck 3 or 4 for example), obviously this is possible...

The best way is to use a DAW or audio editor and lay all the samples you want to use in a mix (no more than 8 though), then assign cuepoints to trigger them off.

Instead of adding a dedicated sampler functionality, maybe Traktor could offer a sampler track that you could drag in a an empty deck, then select 8 samples and then drag those onto the sampler track.

Traktor would then assign 8 cuepoints automatically.

So the sampler track would sort of have a pice of code running inside it?

Maybe a long winded way though...

If you only use two decks, there is no time to play around in an empty deck, not to mention trigger them off within the mix
