    Hello,

I cannot figure out if or how this would be possible: I chop up a drum loop to 16 pads using slice mode. Now I would like to add zones to certain pads/slices. Like a sub kick below the kick for example. I know how adding a zone works using single sounds/samples. But with slices I don't know how.

Other question regarding slices: Can I duplicate/copy slices to other groups?

    Thanks for helping out,
    Laurentius

In the sample page at the zone tab, under the sample name you will see a small plus sign, if you click this you can add another sample. Individually selecting each sample allows you to edit the map zone for each sample.

As I said: It doesnt work for individual slices. I am not talking about individual "sounds" or "samples". I mean slices from one drumloop.

Well I appear to be able to do what I think you are asking. I can slice to a group (a sample per pad) or slice to a pattern (a sample per note) and in both cases I can rezone the original sliced samples and add further samples, which can be zoned such that they only play in conjunction with one of my sliced samples. Maybe I am not understanding your problem.

Oh man, just when I read this answer about applying it to a group I found about it. Thanks a lot for your input and sorry for the confusion!
