Adding envelope to a long sample in Kontakt

    I want to trigger a "one shot" 2 minute sample and add a slow attack to it. I can only make the sample play for that length of time if I have the envelope turned off. With the envelope on it will only sound for at the most 20 seconds unless I keep my finger on the key. Any ideas anyone?

    More of a work around than an elegant solution: edit the sample in something else - peak, protools - with the fade you want in the front, and play it in Kontakt with the envelope off.

    use an ahdsr envelope from the amplifier module list and make sure u set the release value to the max.
