    Hi all, my first post!

Hope I'm in the right section - I've searched all over the forums for this same problem but can't find an answer. I found some similar but not the same, but I apologise if it's been asked before and I missed it.

I want to use an old-ish laptop that has a stylus input thingy. I think it will work well with Traktor for when a controller is unavailable, and it's certainly way more precise than a standard touchscreen. I would like to give it a go anyway, but I've encountered a problem with parts of the Traktor interface that make it almost impossible to use - specifically with the xfader, volume sliders and efx knobs. They are waaay too sensitive. I have to move them incredibly slowly in order to smoothly use them, and even then the slider speeds way ahead of the stylus so for every tiny movement of the stylus the slider moves much farther and faster. Everything else in Traktor works fine, and the laptop is more than capable of running the software with ease, despite its age.

I found a video of some dude trying to use a touchscreen which demonstrates what I’m talking about. You can see it here, specifically at 27secs into it:

Please note that afaik this is a different problem than the one described here: https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/mouse-trackpad-sensitivity-outrageous.215820/
I'm not using Win8.1 and it does move in increments rather than a binary 0 or 100% volume. The solution presented there didn't help anyway.

I think the problem is with the way the sliders themselves are made - you can almost see what I mean with a standard mouse. Try move a slider - you will see the cursor disappear while it moves, and it reappears in the same position when you lift. Clearly trying this same movement with the stylus or touchscreen causes problems to how this is handled in Traktor.

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity or the acceleration of the sliders/knobs?

    Thank you!

Not sure if this helps but on my mac if I hold down the shift button while turning a knob then knobs are less sensitive/more precise. I didn't check with faders.
