    Hi everybody,
this is my first post in the community, I apologize in advance if this sounds like a noob question.
My idea is to apply a simple volume envelope (ADSR) to Collision in Ableton Live, which doesn't have the standard ADSR control. The first thing that came to my mind was to simply put an instance of Reaktor FX after Collision and multiply the incoming signal (from Collision) by an ADSR module. I report a scheme of how I approached the problem in the attached snapshot. However, this solution simply produces no sound. I believe there's a basic misunderstanding in using the envelope module, any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

Is there sound if you connect the inputs directly to the outputs in the Reaktor ensemble?

are you routing a midi channel in live into reaktor to trigger the adsr?

Hey colB, this is the first trial I did and connecting the input to the outputs (and bypassing the envelope) the sound is returned unprocessed.
Hi Michael, I am not routing the channel as Reaktor is used as an FX directly on the MIDI channel of Collision. In my understanding, the MIDI routing shouldn't be an issue as I may be able to use the envelope as an external effect also on an audio track.

generally an FX unit in live needs to have its own midi input channel as all midi data going into the main instrument channel will get received by the instrument (collision) and not pass through to any other FX in use.

That's interesting, I had no idea about how the midi data is routed within the live FXs. Do you know if the Reaktor user library has some ensembles for this purpose? Thank you very much btw
