I'm a noob at this, haven't got the chance to read the manual of reaktor, but i'm tryin' to make a very basic analog synth.

the thing is i want a ADSR envelope on the filter, so i can get the attack to work on the filter, i can't get this done, i don't know anything, of reaktor, everytime i open a module i read the info to understand or try to understand what this does.

please, can some one help me and give me some advice on how are those things working?

and for the future i'd like to make for that synth a reverb, delay, and some way to route LFO's to the fx's can anyone explain how to get this done?

oh other thing, i tryed to make a noise osc for the synth, but it was hard to make a ON OFF button, i mean it worked but if someone can help me with that, and for the colors of the noise, i added a filter to the noise osc so it can work as the colors....

well thanks and sorry for all the questions.
there's the .ens in a .zip

    :)

    +1

However, you'd probably feel better, if you imagine Reaktor sounds as numbers instead of sounds. If you mulitply any sound by zero, you'll get zero. If you multiply your filter with ADSR output - you'll get ADSR for your filter. If you mutiply your noise with On/Off button, that has values of 0 and 1, in first case your noise will be off and in second case your noise will be on.

Just insert multiply module and mulptiply filter output it with ADSR output. Same with noise.

yes, that's what i'm doin', but still not getting anything.
    let me explain.

i opened a simple adsr, then added the controls and did that multiply thing inside the filter macro.

so, the adsr module has a gate input, right?

this is what happends, if i don't put a midi gate tru the G i don't get any sound,
but if i do i get an amplitude attack. well at least that's what i'm hearing.

and then i added a constant on the G and i started hearing the envelope working, but not the controls.

by the way, is there a chat here in the forum? so that i can't bother you on forum post and make this faster?

thank you very much you are really helpin' me/.
by the way great blog i read those things when i was at school
    god bless the holidays.:p

Damn! i think i just got it!

dammit so stupid, i was sendind the SWITCH out to the multiply!
    not the filter.
    crap.
    thank you very much.

    solved - that's fine :)
best way to learn is posting here a simple example of REAKTOR issues so that everyone can see it and give you tips.
    good luck with future discoveries.
