    Hi Traktor Community,

This feature is inspired by the 'FX frequency select' option on current Pioneer mixers such as the DJM-900nxs2. It allows you to apply effects exclusively to one part of the frequency spectrum. The obvious use case for this is having nice delays on a top loop of a track without having to choose between completely murdering the kick and bassline with delay or having no kick and bassline anymore because you filtered them out. As far as I know this is currently impossible in traktor without having an external effects unit to use with send&return. It is possible to simply add a frequency selector to the effects unit, but i think it would be much better to give users even more freedom in how the effects are routed.

The two options I imagine are 'Parallel' and 'Internal send&return', visualised here along with the current options.

Of the two options I think Parallel would be best, with most controllers already having the option to change effect routing on the fly it is very easy to turn on or off. Internal send&return would be a bit weird since it would have to replace a deck when in use. But it is very powerful nonetheless (imagine having wet signal coming from FX unit 1 into channel 3 and routing channel 3 to FX unit 2!).

I think it would be good to have a look into these things because it really broadens the options without requiring any extra hardware, because everyhing is done internally in Traktor.
