advice on faulty hardware or not

SO I got Maschine last Friday and am loving it.
I just have an issue with my tempo control radically changing when I dial it.
If I try to change the bpm up 106 to 108, it goes to something random, like 32 all of a sudden..
Or if I try to go to 90, it will go to 88, but then 148.
I have two tickets in to NI. I saw a few postings on the forum that some reported it might be hardware.
Does anyone experience this, and it’s basically just do to the update? I need to know if I should return it for another one before my 14 days are up.
Another incident is playing patterns, a few times I saw the tempo numbers randomly moving on my hardware screen, but it wasn’t affecting the tempo.

 

i had this, and it was a hardware fault as even using shift and tempo would still fluctuate......it shouldn't fluctuate the way your saying so i think you may have a problem.
