I have been in almost a month running Ableton Live 8 demo and got hooked on the program.
I bought it and still waiting for it. I had read so many positive comments about Komplete 7, so I bought that too. However, it was a gamble for my laptop is not the very most alert with AMD dual core 2.1, win vista 32 bit and 4gig ram, and 150 gb free space on their harddrive.

I installed everything on Komplete 7 and the computer became very slow. Directly on the boot. I opened Ableton Live 8 demo to test Absynth and it did not go well. Sure I can change the sound and mediocre scroll through the menus, but it is not good enough.
Among vst on Ableton were several different Absynth one with fx, a stereo and a few others.

Is it so simple that my computer is too bad?

I have an external harddrive with USB connection. Could I install Komplete 7 on it? Would that help? On that I have about 200 GB over. Or transfer the sound libraries?

I also have an external sound card.

    Hoping for some advice!
    Sorry for my english.

Oh this is great, I wanted to know this too, thanks!
Dumb question . . . where do I find the libraries?

There should be a file "Native Instruments" in "My Documents". You`ll find (almost) all libraries there (except for the Kore Player files, as I recall. I`m not at home right now.).

    Best wishes
