Yeah looks like Abe 10 will enhance Push2 a lot, cant wait :) since I sent my Maschine MK3 back due to a fault, I havent missed it and use Maschine just for its drum sounds within Abe using Push2. Need to save up some pennies for Abe 10. My upgrade to Suite is £351....

Think I'll stick with Live Studio. Just £210 from Lite which was included with my Focusrite Saffire.

I guess of you dont want or need the synths or sampler instrument then Standard edition is the best. i want that Wavetable synth, looks very interesting and easy to use, have dabbled with Serum, but cant get it, wavetable looks far simpler to setup modulations etc.

Yeah I've got enough synths. Komplete Ultimate (Inc Reaktor), Iris2, Z3TA+2, Rapture Pro, and the Addictive stuff is probably enough.

    I call bullsh!t.
Live had a ton of updates over it's 4 years. Dual monitor, Simpler warping, and a ton of other improvements to simpler including cytonic filters, new controller in Push 2, huge enhancements to Push 2 including change pad colour from hardware, change routing from hardware, 64 pad drum rack layout, record to arrangement view, etc etc.

    I think you'll dig live.
At its heart it's like Geist, but with a lot more frills.
I would also recommend a Push 2, but only if you have the cash.
I know you're looking for that MPC feel in software and hardware combo, and Live is the closest. Maschine was almost there around 1.8 but has been quietly moving away from that paradigm ever since...

There is a difference with Ableton not being open about their roadmap, they fu••ing deliver, so you can trust them.

I cannot recall last time NI delivered something that was not incomplete , attached to vague promises, or it was a sound expansion. Am I supposed to believe that they are going to blow my mind with 3.0 when after almost 10 years they were not even able to make the sampler timestretch?

    Indeed.

The only major disappointments I'm seeing in the Ableton community in regards to V10 is non existent comping and VST3 support. Maybe MIDI HD.Maybe they will do something about that in 2018.

i am not sure what you mean by there being a limit in users patience? If it's that bad why are you even procrastinating or discussing it and not just moving on?

Do me a favour though, close the door on the way out as it's winter soon and I don't wish to get cold

Yeah. It sorta does… but it's amost unuseable…when every single other DAWs have implemented drag n stretch features…

Because we paid good money for services that weren't delivered. You're happy, fine. But NI have crossed few lines lately and they must aknoledge it

    what?
well you surely don't care about anybody - that's been apparent since you joined and started the constant moanzone

    I don't either tbh ;)

i'm going to hang around a forum for a product i dislike and a company i depise after confessing my love for something else, does that sound mature?

leave the door open mate - just make sure you actually exit and please hand in your pass

Of course I meant realtime stretch, I thought it was obvious for anyone actually using the product.

If I get my money back I would cross the door in 0.00004 seconds. The problem here is im an angry customer, and customers are always right.

    Not realtime. It's 2017 remember...
I don't know how we can't agree that that is a disgrace, in a modern sampler.
Glad people are happy with Maschine, I've come to terms with what it can't do, but to pretend ignorance or that this is valid in a top dollar sampler today is flipping ridiculous...
