After BIOS update, True School wants to install again?

This is the strangest thing. After updating motherboard firmware, the first thing that happened when Windows started up was a pop up from True School. I haven't opened Native Access in weeks, so I don't know how an installer was set to run on boot. When I finally did open Native Access, it installed an update for itself but True School needed no update. Windows control panel says True School was installed on August 7. What was lurking for so long that decided now was the time to take action?
