I assign a one shot on my F1 deck a color. Play the one shot.. and when the one shot is finished playing the color of the pad turns white .. until I press it again. After pressing it.. back to it's color until it's finished with the one shot and ... back to white.

What did I do? Activate some mode I'm unaware of?

That is the way it works for me also.
I actually like it cause it reminds me which ones are one-shots.
My preference would be that the stay lit but pulse.

    Hopefully an update changes this.

Edit does it turn white when the option to ignore quant is checked in preferences. I can't remember. I will have to check it out.

This is the expected behaviour of the F1 for one shots, if you use an F1 with a DVS or a jogwheel you'll get a better idea as to why this is.

You can line up a series of one shots in series to create a custom tool, and the track will cycle through each oneshot in sequence. So, for example, trigger a sample in cell #1, then as it finishing, trigger a sample in cell #2. Cell #1 will go white to show its finished playing, and if you backspin the track using the jog wheel or timecode, you can spin back to the top of the sample (and the color will return) or you can jog forward to the second sample you triggered.

Its really useful for triggering scratch samples.

Hey, is it possible to reset that "played state" white led without pressing stop or an empty pad?
Right now i´m using the f1 only as a one shot sampler. It´s really annoying to press always the stop button after i played a sample.
i sort my samples by colour, but if the pads are all white....:-(
i hope somebody got a solution for this.
