Aggregate Device breaking Traktor Button?

    Hi -

I'm trying to grab the complete output of the Z2 so that I can stream it, for example in OBS. As I don't have a second sound card to capture the analogue out, I am using the 'virtual routing' as described as option 'C' here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006980357.

This is working fine when using timecode vinyl - e.g. playing back digital files, but I also want to mix real vinyl in the same set. For some reason when the Z2 is part of an aggregate device and Traktor is set to use it, it breaks the Traktor button so I can't both switch that deck to Thru mode OR switch it to be a Live Input. (Shift + Traktor) as described in these two posts -

    https://support.native-instruments....-Mode-with-Direct-Mode-In-a-Hybrid-Way-en-us-

    https://www.native-instruments.com/...yl-mix-through-z2-and-traktor-scratch.270764/

Basically when in aggregate mode the Traktor button just doesn't register in Traktor and crucially I can't switch it to a Live Input so it is mixed with the scratch record. I can go through the menu system with a mouse and change it, but as you can imagine that is not a viable solution when playing live.

Has anyone else seen this issue? Maybe someone could quickly test it please?

I'm sure this used to work in the past, so I'm wondering if it is related to the Z2 + Catalina issues, though I see they have been closed as supported now in 10.15.4.

    Thanks,
    Greg

I forgot to be explicit that this is on macOS 10.15.4, with the Z2 connected directly to my Mac.

It doesn’t seem to matter what other audio device I aggregate with, while all input and output routing works as expected, switching deck modes with the Traktor button does not.
