AI stems

Both VirtualDJ 2021 and djay PRO have recently implemented automatic AI-based stems, allowing users to filter out the drums, instrumentation, and vocals in a live setting. I'd love to see this come to Traktor!

I know the focus of Traktor Pro has always been the musicality of the software, and so we've been left in the dust on many features like scripting, video playback, light control, and on and on - but this is so CLEARLY a benefit to highly musical and key-mixing DJs that I think it's an obvious choice to include. Perhaps it could even work in a way similar to when you're playing a Stems track, to re-use many of the UX components and workflows.

 

I would really like to see this and other requested features in Traktor..or I will also try to use my S4 MK3 with VDJ or other Software :/

 

I actually tried to use my S8 with VDJ and it was an absolute nightmare - couldn't ever get the touchstrips to work, and the displays were useless. That and the poor workflow/playlist management kept me from using VDJ more, but if Traktor keeps getting further behind in features, I'm right there with you.

 

I said before I would even pay extra for this feature as an add on. It would finally let me play with the maschine a nice spontaneous hybrid set.

It's made for Traktor.
I'm going to purchase it now vs growing old waiting for Traktor to develop the same.

 

I was considering it but due covid there's not too much hurry on my priority list.
