Hello folks. I bought Audio Imperia TGII here for use in Kontakt Player - and it sounds fantastic. However, the issue is that none of the samples and phrases sync with the tempo in ProTools - and neither are they indicating what tempo the samples or loops are. So I wrote to them - and they come back telling me that it will be addressed in their next update - which would b in a couple of weeks. Sure enough the 1.1 update came out - and the issue has not been resolved at all - and now they are telling me the same thing - 'the tempo sync will be sorted out in the next update'.

Has anyone else experienced this? Also - the tech support / customer service at AI doesn't seem overly responsive or helpful. And why put out such a great sounding instrument that depends heavily on melodic phrases and pulses - if none of them are in time with the track you want to use them on?

    Appreciate any clarity or guidance!

    Best,

    Tony

    Hey Tony,

I've just purchased Trailer Guitars 2 and discovered the same issue. I'm assuming you still have the same problem.

In case it's any help, most of the samples in TG2 are either 120bpm or 90bpm. I know this because all of the samples used in TG2 are available on Splice.com and the tempo is marked on some of them. Pretty sure the Angel and Demon kits are all 90bpm while the basic kits are 120bpm. The tempo of the drones, pulses and atonal samples are not indicated.

I'm pretty disappointed in Audio Imperia for such sloppy work. If I hear anything else I'll keep you posted.

    Best,

    - Dave

    Oh boy,

so glad I'm not the only one - just in the middle of a scoring process and found a few really nice loops, but can't do anything with them since they are tempo fixed and won't change.

    This is a real bummer.

I assume there is no workaround and no other way but to bounce it in (as Dave said) 90 or 120bpm (whatever fits) and then re-insert and stretch (or compress) them. Which is exactly what I want to avoid by purchasing instruments like these...

If anyone hears anything, I'd be thankful!

Not sure if this is helpful, but ...
All of the samples from both TG1 and TG2 are available on Splice.com. So it's possible, depending on your DAW, to retime and repitch your sample. I'm using Ableton Live, so it's pretty easy. Not familiar with other DAWs, but I assume I can be done. You can subscribe to Splice for $10 bucks a month and download 200 samples.

    Thanks for the advice!

I actually just received an email from the Audio Imperia support, and they said that they are right now finishing an update for Nucleus and after that, they will fix this in Trailer Guitars! So, hope is coming :)
