    Hello!

Well, I´ve allready sent a mail to NI support without getting any answers about the problem. So no I´m gonna try this forum :)

    Problem:
Im get the "bad usb connection or to little power on the bus" error. So I have to unplug/plug the AK1. After this the soundcard workes properly. But the error happens to often, and sometimes the hole computer crashes. Then the only solution is to restart the mac. I have turned of "computer going to sleep" mode so I dont think this is the problem.

I have also tryed out the NI FAQ for answers, but no help there.

Does anyone have this problem and is there a solution/answer to why this happens?

(computer specs: mac pro, 2,66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon-prosess, 3 GB ram)

try restarting the mac, while holding down "command-option-P-R" until you hear your mac chime TWICE, then release the keys. see if this helps.

are you plugged DIRECTLY into your mac, ie not thru a hub?

are you on 10.5 something? 10.6?

Thanx for answer fisherking, but what will the mac do when holding down these buttons? I'm new to mac so this maybe a stupid question.

    Thanx!

it 'resets the parameter ram'... you can google this... more importantly, look up "reset the power manager" for your specific mac... (check apple's support pages or google...)

I have the same problem with my iMac, i think that is a mac related issue cause when I had Windows it never happens.
