When importing akai cds using batch convert in kontakt, why are the sample loop points moved? the update added a restore sample loops option, but no one is going to fix hundreds of loop points by hand using the awkward gui of kontakt. The loops thing actually could be cool, seems as if kontakt makes a loop size and transposes it to match note to loop size. (and octave higher note to make half the loop size) If only something would snap the loop to the zero crossings of the sample I would probably wouldn't notice if kontakt defined the loops or if the akai cd did.

also there needs to be an option to copy per program samples or just one batch of samples. In many piano akai cds for instance, where there are several programs using the same samples, it is rediculous to copy all those samples again for each program.

one more thing, clicking on the mapping editor or loop editor should bring that screen in to view, scrolling is really annoying.

I've been importing Akai samples from the
Advanced Orchestra set, and I haven't noticed
anything like what you are describing. Which
Akai disks is this happening to for you?

mostly piano based cds its been happening, wizoo epianos and ultimate piano collection were both useless to me after import. Any patch that extends the sustain by placing a loop at the end has been giving me problems. loop will be off creating repeating clicking sound. Have you encountered this? maybe I have a problem elsewhere.
