Akoustik and Elektrik Problems PLEASE HELP

I'm a NI newbee. Just purchased and updated KOMPLETE 5 for Mac.

All the Applications work perfectly as a stand-alone. But having technical difficulties using AKOUSTIK and Elektrik Piano as a plugin in ProTools 7.3.1.

Here's the 1st Problem.

After inserting AKOUSTIK as a plugin in ProTools, I load the first preset (does not matter which preset I start with) and I use the mouse to play a few notes on the virtual keyboard. Everything is good, no problems. BUT, as soon as I change to any other preset and use the mouse to play the virtual keyboard, there is no sound on the output. HELP!#1. The only way to use the plugin is to reinsert the Akoustik as a plugin and choose a preset...but the problem starts all over again. PLEASE HELP!


Here's the 2nd Problem...Sorta sounds like the same as the 1st problem:

After inserting Elektrik Piano as a plugin in ProTools, I load the first preset (again, does not matter which preset I start with) and use the mouse to play a few notes on the keyboard, everything is good, no problems.. BUT, as soon as I change to any other preset and use the mouse to play the keyboard, there is MASSIVE delay (about 5 seconds)
before I hear the audio. The only way to use the plugin is to reinsert Elektrik, choose a preset...but problem starts all over again. PLEASE HELP!

The delay is likely due to the audiodriver. Try using (if possible) "Asio 4 All". Look it up and see if you can use it as a driver in your programs -- it will drop the delay into the low millisecond range, depending on your audio hardware.

I don't know enough about the software you're using to offer any other advice, sorry.

 

Okay, here's the temp fix for this stupid bug.
This is a known bug as depicted in the README.

You have to Start/Stop playback of Protools each time you change a Preset when using AP or EP as a plugin in ProTools.

COME ON! This should be simple easy fix. Let's get it right.

Hey,

Just installed Komplete 5 and when running Ak. Piano in Cubase SX3 everytime I try to switch pianos or rooms it just reloads the piano I originally started with. In fact any mouse clicks on the interface don't do anything except cause a reload...help...what's going on here.

Also I have no samples for the El. Piano. It keeps telling me to install El. piano disk but of the 2 dvd sets that came with Kom. 5 none of them say El. Piano...where is this library?
