    Hello i keep getting these errors:

    If I click on and try to load any one of the four pianos, I get a message box saying 'ERROR: could not load sample (unsupported format)'.

    and i know the thread that had this solution from, which came from MARK NI,
    but that solution has not exactly worked it still says unsupported formats trying to load the LONG file names such as:

    SteiG-R(A0)-V(087)-dB(2298)-T(ML)-M(26)-P(4668-02-01).WAV

    all the files are like this and others have lower case .wav extension at the end.

    this solution from mark i tried below but it doesn't work:

    in my samples directory is my for example boesendorfer directory and inside that are
    the folders: samples and then samples II. is this correct?

    Re: Error: Could Not Load Sample (unsupported Format)
    Hi Alexi,

    normally the problem is missing samples not wrong format. hm, did you copy the samples by hand from the DVDs? if not I would advise to try this and also a different DVD drive.

    - In case you get errors regarding missing samples when loading
    pianos, please copy the respective sample folders manually from
    the DVDs to your hard disk.
    E.g. to replace the 24 bit samples for the Boesendorfer
    * Insert DVD1 into your DVD drive
    * Copy the Boesendorfer folder located in the "Samples
    folder" on the DVD into the “Samples folder” located in your
    AKOUSTIK PIANO installation directory
    * When prompted, replace all existing files

    Note: for 16 bit samples, copy the Boesendorfer folder in
    the Samples16 folder into the Samples folder on your hard disk (do
    not rename the target folder to Samples16!).

    AKOUSTIC PIANO Disk 1 folder structure:
    * Samples/Boesendorfer
    * Samples16/Boesendorfer

    Best,
    Markus
